Graduation Year: December 2018 (soon, yay!)
Major: Public Relations
Occupation, Company: Looking for full-time work for when I graduate
Describe your current occupation and if applicable, how was Temple the launchpad for your current position?
I hope to work in the entertainment industry doing PR or events. I love to make people smile, and I wasn't sure how to translate that into a major or a career, but Temple helped me find my passion, events. Through my classes, knowledgeable professors, and experience with clubs on campus, I feel like I am ready to take the adult world by storm.
Why do you support Temple University and serve on the Klein Alumni Association Board?
I love Temple. I made lifelong friends, gained tremendous real world experience and grew into the person I am on this campus. It is an honor to be on the Klein Alumni Association Board and to help students learn about the wonderful things our college is doing and how to get involved and stay engaged early on
What excites you about the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication?
The classes and the professors. I always get nervous for the course load at the beginning of the semester, but I always truly end up loving all of my classes. We learn important information that actually sticks with you and you find yourself using day to day. The professors are so accomplished and knowledgeable and so willing to help you in anyway they can. Being apart of such a strong community is amazing
What advice could you give someone looking to become more engaged with Klein College?
Just do it! Everyone I have met through Klein is so welcoming, and so kind. I was nervous to join because I didn’t really know anyone but they welcomed me in with open arms. Being involved is so rewarding, and so much fun as well!
What was your favorite memory while a student at Temple?
So hard to choose! I would have to say being elected President of MCPB. Getting to work with students and administration was an experience I will never forget. Being able to help students get the most out of their time on campus and build school pride meant so much to me
