The Department of Journalism at the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University aims to develop critical-thinking journalists who can communicate creatively across various contexts, cultures and media while maintaining sensitivity to other perspectives. With an appreciation for the practice of journalism in all its forms—as well as its foundation in the First Amendment—we empower consumers, practitioners and scholars to understand journalism’s societal role and ethical responsibilities.
