Students and their teacher posing in front of KCMP step and repeat

For Educators

After-School Club? Curriculum Integration? Study Hall Upgrade?

KCMP is a flexible, future-forward opportunity to introduce your students to careers they may have never considered—but will absolutely want to explore. Advertising and PR are dynamic, ever-evolving industries that blend creativity with strategy, and KCMP gives students a front-row seat.

Whether you integrate KCMP into an existing class, offer it as a special topics course, or run it as an after-school club, the KCMP is a powerful way to spark curiosity and build career-ready skills. Students will explore the “why” behind “why we buy” and learn how to shape the stories that influence culture.

Build Your Dream (Agency) Team

Every great campaign needs a next-level crew—and KCMP is your chance to assemble one. Think of your team like the cast of your favorite show or the squad behind your favorite influencer. Everyone’s got a role, and together, you’ll make something unforgettable.

Here’s who you’ll want on your KCMP agency team:

  • Account Manager Your team’s Peter Parker (organized, responsible, and secretly the glue holding it all together). They keep the team on track, manage deadlines, and make sure the pitch hits all the right notes.
  • Account Planner  The Wednesday Addams of the group—quietly brilliant and obsessed with figuring out what makes people tick. They do the research, uncover insights, and write creative briefs that guide the whole campaign.
  • Media Planner Your Shuri from Wakanda. Tech-savvy, budget-smart, and knows exactly where your campaign should show up. Loves spreadsheets, strategy, and making sure your message hits the right audience at the right time.
  • Copywriter The Emma Chamberlain of the team—witty, clever, and always has the perfect line. They write the headlines, social captions, and ad scripts that make your campaign pop.
  • Art Director Your team’s Charli D’Amelio meets PinkPantheress. They’ve got the eye, the vibe, and the creative energy to make your campaign look amazing. Whether it’s designing a logo, a TikTok ad, or a pitch deck that slaps—they’re the one turning ideas into visuals that get noticed.
  • Public Relations (PR) Specialist The Alix Earle of the crew—media-savvy, social, and always thinking about how to get your campaign noticed. They handle buzz, events, and social media to make sure your pitch gets the spotlight it deserves.

Whether you’re the strategist, the designer, the writer, or the hype person—there’s a place for you on a KCMP team.

Advising Sessions (aka We got your back!)

Your team won’t be thrown to the wolves. Faculty members from Temple’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations will guide you through the pitch process with two advising sessions spaced out within the KCMP timeline, giving teams the chance to refine their work and gain real-world insights from seasoned professionals.
