Biography

Yuhui Zhu is a PhD student at Temple University Klein College of Media and Communication. Her research interests involve mediated health communication with special focus on the impact of misinformation/disinformation, integration of information processing theory, and disparities in health communication efforts. She focuses on examining the effect of misinformation and disinformation in health-related communication and more broadly, studies how society responses to health-related misinformation/disinformation and how social response affect healthcare practices and health communication efforts.
