With proper planning and time to explore funding resources, a study away experience can become accessible for more students. Global Opportunities (GO) administers several scholarships to help offset the cost of their programs. Start researching scholarship opportunities early so you can take full advantage of available resources.

GO Funding

Diane M. Rencevicz Memorial Scholarship

Open to students studying in London through the Global Opportunities (GO) semester programs. Scholarships are awarded annually to recipients with financial need.

All students who apply for a Klein GO Scholarship will be considered for this award.

First Time Away Scholarship

Open to students who have never traveled outside of the United States. The First Time Away Scholarship project aims to encourage and enable students to travel. 

The award is between $250 and $500.

Global Access Scholarship

Open to students who identify as a racial or ethnic minority, LGBTQ, first-generation student, veteran, students with financial need and  students with a disability are encouraged to apply. The Global Access Scholarship aims to create a community of Klein GO students that reflects Temple’s student body.

The award is between $250 and $1,000.

Global Opportunities Multimedia Scholarship

Open to students interested in documenting their study away experiences through various forms of multimedia. Awardees are expected to submit entries via blogs, images or videos.

Awards are distributed as follows.

  • Semester program: up to $1,000
  • Summer program: $500
  • Short-term winter or spring break program: $250

Global Opportunities Scholarship

Klein GO reserves 60% of its scholarship funds to assist students with financial need. 

The award ranges from $250 to $5,000 and is determined by the GO scholarship committee in consultation with the university's financial aid office.

James Johnson ’78 Memorial Scholarship

Open to Klein students studying in London through a Global Opportunities (GO) program. One scholarship is awarded annually to a recipient with financial need.

All students who apply for a Klein GO Scholarship will be considered for this award.
