Klein College of Media and Communication holds its graduation ceremonies on Main Campus in May each year. Graduates have the opportunity to hear their name read, walk across the stage in their cap and gown, and have a keepsake picture taken by a professional photographer.

The RSVP and Ticket Request site will open from February 17, 2026 through March 22, 2026. Only eligible graduates can RSVP/request tickets for their guests.
Applying to graduate does not mean that you have reserved a spot for the graduation ceremony.
Student eligible to graduate will receive an email from Klein Events with instructions on how to register via Tassel by February 17. Using your Temple Accessnet username (tua12345) and password, log in and complete the registration.
Graduates and their guests are invited to join Klein administration and faculty for a reception with light refreshments in Annenberg Hall immediately following the ceremony around noon. Please RSVP when completing the form for the ceremony in Tassel.

Guests are welcome to celebrate your graduation with you. Each graduate can bring up to 10 guests to Klein's ceremony. NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for Klein's ceremony on May 8.

To streamline the regalia process, graduates are being asked to order their cap and gown online to ship-to-store or to ship-to-home. As a result, regalia won’t be available to purchase in-store until April 20. We are encouraging students to order online and not to wait until April 20th to purchase in-store.
The ship-to-store deadline for in-store pickup in March 15, 2026. In-store pick-up will start April 20, 2026.

We know graduation is an exciting time, but it also comes with a lot of questions. To help you prepare for this important milestone, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common inquiries about the ceremony, tickets, regalia and more. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out for additional assistance.
Graduation isn’t automatic—you must apply to graduate to ensure you receive your degree and can participate in the ceremony. This section answers common questions about the application process, deadlines, eligibility requirements and what to expect after you apply.
All potential graduates should apply to graduate by February 1.
*Applying to graduate is an Office of the University Registrar (OUR) procedure. This alerts the OUR of a student’s intention to complete their degree. This is a separate process from RSVPing to the Klein Graduation Ceremony and/or Commencement Ceremony.
Steps to Apply to Graduate
Students must reach at least 124 credits, have a GPA of 2.0 or above and successfully complete all majorand general education requirements with passing grades.
Students should have received an email in January confirming OR denying that they are on track to graduate from one of the following advisors: Rob Dearden, Bea Fernandez, Kendra Johnson, Elliot Rouse or Associate Director Mary Beth Flynn.
If you did not receive this email and are unsure if you meet the requirements to graduate, please make an appointment with your assigned advisor via the Student Tools tab on the TUportal.

Graduation and commencement are often used interchangeably, but they aren’t the same. This section answers common questions about both to help you understand what to expect.
Temple University’s Commencement is on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Liacouras Center. This is a university-wide tradition where graduates of each school or college are welcome to attend in the audience. *Graduates will not be crossing the stage or having their names read for Commencement.
Klein College’s Graduation Ceremony is on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Liacouras Center. This is a Klein College event where Klein graduates will hear their name read, walk across the stage wearing their academic regalia, and have a keepsake picture taken by a professional photographer. Graduates should report one hour before the ceremony starts.
Eligible graduates must RSVP by March 22 on commencement.temple.edu.
The deadline to RSVP for Klein's Graduation Ceremony is April 15.

The Graduation Tabling Sessions are where graduating students can pick up their senior gifts, receive honor cords (if applicable), complete the First Destination survey and obtain their 4 Temple University Commencement tickets.

To ensure everything goes smoothly, it’s important to know the key details about arrival times, check-in procedures, seating and other essential logistics. This section covers everything you need to be prepared and make the most of your special day.
Tickets are not required for the Klein College Graduation Ceremony, but each student is limited to ten guests.
Doors open to guests one hour before the ceremony begins. The ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. and the doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Graduates should arrive no later than one hour before the ceremony, which is 8:30 a.m. at the Liacouras Center Loading Dock to receive their seat assignment and name card.
All graduates will have their photo taken as they cross the stage. In addition, after exiting the stage, a photographer will be stationed to capture a photo of each graduate. Photos taken during the ceremony can be downloaded within one to three days of the graduation ceremony. The ceremony will be streamed live for all family and friends not in attendance. To watch the live stream, visit the Klein College of Media and Communication YouTube channel.
If a graduate or their guests need accessible seating and/or parking, they are able to indicate that on the RSVP form for Klein Graduation and Commencement. They are also able to discuss it at Graduation Tabling in the Annenberg Hall Atrium.
