Temple’s Master of Journalism program is designed for journalists eager to lead in civic media, emphasizing engagement, collaboration, and equity. Whether you’re an aspiring or current journalist, this program deepens your skills as a professional, change-maker, and thought leader.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Multimedia Reporting & Media Study: Hands-on reporting meets the study of evolving journalistic roles. Tackle issues like tech shifts, funding challenges, and media ethics.
  • Cohort-Based Learning: Start with a Philadelphia media “bootcamp” and finish with a summer capstone—an in-depth project, either independently or with a newsroom.
