Biography

Hannah Braid (she/her/ella) is a community language educator and community organizer by trade, but a student advocate and global citizen at heart. She holds a BA in linguistics from Temple University, where she also completed a major in Spanish Literature and Linguistics.

While a student at Temple, Hannah studied abroad in Oviedo, Spain, during the Spring 2018 semester where she had the opportunity to explore much of Western Europe and make lifelong connections with her homestay family. Following her undergraduate career, Hannah remained in Philadelphia to earn her MSEd in TESOL from the University of Pennsylvania in their Graduate School of Education's Educational Linguistics division. Back in Philadelphia, she has worked with many global populations as an ESL tutor and mentor for multilingual elementary students and as an ESL teacher for adult refugees who were newly arrived to the country. In 2022, Hannah flew back into the nest and returned Temple to work with Klein in their Office of Global Opportunities! She looks forward to meeting students and helping them achieve their goals at home in Philly, away and abroad.
