Biography

My name is Haya Qubbaj and I’m a Palestinian international student here at Temple. I’m a rising senior majoring in Media Studies and Production and pursuing a Content Creation minor. At Klein, I am involved with TUTV’s Temple Update, where I have been a reporter, anchor, and assistant producer. I have also produced two of Temple Update’s daily news briefs; Update Now and Temple Moment. What I enjoy most about being a Klein Owl is being a part of the inclusive and supportive community we have. Help is always just a request away whether it’s from your peers or from the faculty. To all my future Owls, my biggest advice to you is to get yourselves as involved as you possibly can on campus. Through the plethora of organizations we have, you’ll not only be able to build your skills for your future careers, but you’ll also be able to make some amazing friends that’ll be there for you during your college journeys! I can’t wait to meet you all and have a wonderful semester together!
