Biography

Kendra Johnson serves as Klein College of Media and Communication’s academic advisor catering to all six majors within the school. She came to Temple University after her time as an assistant academic advisor for the Athletics Department at the University of South Florida, where she advised the football team. The advisor started her journey in academic advising at Chestnut Hill College.  She served the student-athlete population and received a Women’s and Minorities Grant from the NCAA to explore further areas of diversity & inclusion, communications, community engagement and academic advising.

Johnson completed her BA in journalism & media studies at Rutgers University-Newark in 2013, where she also played basketball for the Scarlet Raiders. She received her MA in strategic communications from LaSalle University in 2019.
