Biography

Keyu Chen’s research focuses on the psychological processes underlying how emerging media technologies, such as artificial intelligence, shape people's perceptions and behaviors. Before joining Temple University, she earned her master’s degree in journalism from Renmin University of China, with a research interest in emotional communication. Her previous work was published in the Chinese Journal of Youth Studies. She is also working as a teaching assistant at Klein College, supporting Media Studies and Production and Advertising courses. Previously, she worked as an editorial intern at the Chinese media outlet People’s Daily and as a journalist at the 21st Century Business Herald. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, particularly those that simulate farming life.
