In my role as Director of Development for Historic Philadelphia, Inc. I raise funds and solicit sponsorships for the Betsy Ross House, Franklin Square and Once Upon a Nation storytelling and Field Trip programs.

Why do you support Temple University and serve on the Klein Alumni Association Board?

My experience as a student at Temple University was a very positive one, not only in the classroom, but as a member of a large diverse community. I believe in giving back and paying my experience forward. Being a member of the Klein Alumni Assoc. board provides me with the opportunity to be a better informed ambassador for the Klein School and the University as well as playing a small part in the continued growth of Klein and the success of future Klein alumnae.

What excites you about the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication?

We live in very interesting times in relation to media, technology and communications. It is an exciting time to be a member of the Klein Alumni board. I look forward to seeing Klein continue to grow the important role graduates of the program will have on the future of media and communications. I believe The Klein School will play an integral role in the future of media, storytelling and communications. I can also tell you that meeting students is a highlight of my board service. I am impressed by their focus, intellect and drive. It is an inspiring and amazing experience.

What advice could you give someone looking to become more engaged with Klein College?

We all know there is not enough hours in a day to accomplish what we want to accomplish. With that said being engaged with Klein is all what you want to make of it. It could be volunteering to do mock interviews with students for a few hours. It could be joining us for an event. It could even be providing time to meet with a student or two to provide career advice. There are many ways an individual can pay if forward to a fellow Owl.

What was your favorite memory while a student at Temple?

The 1987-88 basketball season when our Temple Owls were ranked # 1 in the Country
