Describe your current occupation and if applicable, how was Temple the launchpad for your current position?

It is such an exciting time to be in marketing and public relations, especially in Philadelphia. Every day I combine my love for storytelling and relationships with my clients and in our unique media landscape. I get to work with all different kinds of companies in a variety of really interesting and sometimes, unusual spaces. My experience at Temple has prepared me with a ready for anything attitude. Klein students specifically know how to not back down from a challenge with the roll up your sleeves mentality we develop from our years learning from the pros. Internships are vital and luckily very accessible to the Temple community for proximity but also the Temple resources and professionals that take eager Owls under their wing.

Why do you support Temple University and serve on the Klein Alumni Association Board?

I support Temple because I love the kind of students that are attracted to the university. I serve on the Klein Alumni Association Board because I want to keep the cycle of mentorship, resources and helping students in the same way that so greatly benefitted my career. By engaging students and other alumni we are all making each other even better Owls!

What excites you about the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication?

I’m most excited by the opportunities Klein affords hardworking students who are determined and passionate enough to go after them. There is something about the passion and pride Klein instills in its students and radiates beyond the classroom and throughout the professional industry.

What advice could you give someone looking to become more engaged with Klein College?

I hope interested alumni will see the exciting opportunities still available post-graduation. Becoming involved in activities is not only fun but continues the Temple tradition of making memories far beyond the four years on campus. The owl network is strong and together we can ensure future students gain the same experience we all look back and fondly remember.

What was your favorite memory while a student at Temple?

When I look back on some of my favorite memories from Temple I always smile when I think about the fun my closest friends and I had when we were together in student organizations like PRSSA and PRowl Public Relations.
