Biography

Nick is currently a doctoral student at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication. He focuses on collective/historical memory, regarding archetypal myth, narrative and nostalgia. He also investigates psychological processing, i.e., how media effect anxiety/depression, death/dying, dreams/nightmares, as well as memory retention. His research approach is not strict to one specific method, be it qualitative or quantitative. Instead, what best fits the research topic influences his method of choice. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Arts in Media Studies from Temple University. Outside of academia, he works as a carpenter.
