Soo Hyung Kim is a doctoral student at the Klein College of Media and Communication. His research agenda is to understand the nature of practice and the conditions that contribute to the change of media production culture; in particular, he is interested in exploring how and why we have contemporary media production culture in the context of global media networks and emerging new media. He has worked as an independent documentary filmmaker for many years, trying to combine his experiences with research.
