The 19th Annual Media Studies and Production (MSP) Student Awards took place Tuesday, April 30, in Annenberg Hall, recognizing outstanding student work in video, audio, writing and multimedia production.
Hosted by Klein alumna and CBS3 anchor/reporter Alicia Roberts, the ceremony celebrated the creative achievements of Klein students across 19 award categories. The event was sponsored by Five Guys and Richie’s Café.
Top winners included:
- Celina Ehrlich, who earned first place in four categories: Best Long Form Script, Best Website and Best Long Form Video for Mirror Lake, and Best Graduate Creative Project for The Shockwave: A Horror Host Story.
- Connor Murray, who earned top honors in Best Research Paper and Long Form Audio Production for Plato’s Severance.
- Natalie Koranda, who took first in both the Best Talent and Best Sports Package categories.
- Calvin Ton, who won Best Music Production and Graduate Research Paper for Dual Nature: Harmonizing Chinese and American Cultural Identity through Musical Fusion.
- Lauren Morris, who earned first place for Temple Senior Shines Bright On Broadway in the Best Feature/News Package category and for System Upgrades for Temple University Police Department in Package Script.
- The annual event reflects the depth of talent and hands-on experience Klein students gain through coursework, student media and professional development opportunities.
