Temple University Television (TUTV), housed in the Klein College of Media and Communication, has received nine nominations from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) as part of the 2025 College Production Awards.
These awards recognize excellence in student journalism, storytelling and production across categories including newscasts, long-form content, cultural affairs and on-air performance. The nominations reflect the talent and dedication of TUTV’s student producers, reporters, anchors and multimedia journalists—and the faculty and staff who support them.
“At TUTV, we believe in providing students with the kind of experiential learning that challenges them, not just to complete assignments, but to grow into skilled, resilient, and industry-ready professionals,” Joe Schreiber, general manager of TUTV, said. “These nominations reflect the long hours, creative risk-taking and teamwork our students commit to becoming outstanding storytellers. We’re proud that their work is being recognized on a regional stage alongside professional broadcasters.”
