The Klein EDGE office will host the annual Klein College Spring Internship and Career Fair on Friday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Howard Gittis Student Center. The event will bring together students and employers for a day focused on networking, professional development and career exploration.
After last year's fantastic turnout, the office hopes to attract approximately 500 students, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with a wide range of organizations and learn more about potential career paths. The event will host employers from a variety of industries to connect with students about internships and full-time job opportunities.
Students will interact with leading organizations in the greater Philadelphia area, including the likes of Fox Studios, CHOP Breakthrough Studios and Maven Communications, representing opportunities across media, healthcare innovation and strategic communications.
Participating organizations will be recruiting for a range of internships and potential full-time positions in areas like media production, communications and business operations. Students should expect to introduce themselves and their career aspirations, while also hearing from organizations about their industries, workplace culture and criteria for potential hires.
The Klein EDGE office will also hold its Prepare for the Fair event on Wednesday, February 18, allowing students to receive résumé feedback, take professional headshots and practice their elevator pitches with career coaches prior to attending the fair.
"Prepare for the Fair is a fantastic opportunity for students to ensure they are ready to rock the career fair,” said Chris Blackman, director of Klein Career Services. “Students will also have the chance to get timely advice from a panel of distinguished alumni.”
Students can register for both Prepare for the Fair and the fair itself through Handshake. Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to help them confidently step into meaningful conversations with potential future employers.
