Taking Courses in Dublin
Students will directly enroll at Dublin City University (DCU) and will take classes lead by DCU professors alongside Irish and fellow international students. Individual courses range from three to six credits each, so students may take as few as two courses in a semester or up to five classes in a semester.
The Temple Dublin City University Program Incorporates 16 weeks of study of two to five elective and/or major courses. Below is a sample of some of the courses offered at DCU.
International Urban Storytelling Courses
Using digital tools, the International Urban Storytelling program captures the people, places and traditions of Dublin. Under the guidance of a Klein faculty member, students will produce a multimedia research project that includes audio, photography, text and video. This program explores the city as a classroom, mobilizing students through on-site lectures, excursions and fieldwork.
Students will take one course with a Dublin City University (DCU) faculty member and one course with a Klein faculty program leader. Students also have the option of complementing their studies with an additional internship in their field at an organization in Dublin. The internship component will be three credits over six weeks of full-time interning.
