Biography

Moony Park is a doctoral student at the Klein College of Media and Communication. Her academic interests largely lean on gender and feminism study with a critical approach. She has explored how the media and online spaces have been utilized for feministic practices, specifically focusing on young feminists in South Korea. Now she is working on how femininity is constructed through body performances and representation on the media. Moony is also interested in film and fandom studies, as the places where feministic practices are constituted and unfolded.
