Biography
Thomas Wright joined Temple in August 2004, after completing his MA and PhD at Purdue University. His areas of interest include communication theory (specifically phenomenology and postmodern theory), identity construction, political communication and social movement rhetoric. Wright actively participates in the university community as a faculty representative on the Temple University Faculty Senate and the General Education Executive Committee, and acts as faculty advisor for Lambda Pi Eta, the student honors organization. He also serves as course director of the Public Speaking program.
When he’s not teaching, Wright enjoys hiking, playing with his children and reading science fiction novels.
