Biography 

Viola’s current research focuses on the relationship between video games and transness, including the trans-audience's relationship to the medium as well as digital games use of trans themes and characters. She has a BA in Anthropology from Beloit College, and a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities from the University of California, Merced. This background informs her use of various methods such as digital ethnography, textual and discourse analysis, and interviews.  She is always happy to talk at [click-for-email].
