Paul Gluck spent more than 30 years producing multimedia content and managing broadcast newsrooms, media companies, TV and radio stations before transitioning to the academic world. He has served as director of news at WCAU-TV and KYW-TV, and VP/station manager of WHYY TV/FM/WEB. In addition to consulting major local and national media organizations, Gluck is a freelance content producer.
Prior to joining Temple SMC’s Department of Media Studies and Production, Gluck was executive director of The Kal & Lucille Rudman Institute at Drexel University and taught the university’s graduate TV course.
He is honored to have been president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and to serve as a national trustee of the academy. He is a current NATAS board member and also serves in the same capacity with the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers. A board member of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, Gluck is also an active Temple alumnus.
In his role as general manager of TUTV and the Kal & Lucille Rudman Media Center, Gluck works with students, staff, faculty, administration and alumni on content development for the channel and plans for cable distribution across the tristate area.
