Biography

Paul Gluck spent years producing multimedia content and managing broadcast newsrooms, media companies, TV and radio stations before transitioning to the academic world. He has served as director of news at WCAU-TV and KYW-TV, and VP/station manager of WHYY TV/FM/WEB. In addition to having consulted consulting major local and national media organizations, Gluck is a freelance content producer.

In his role as general manager of TUTV - Temple University Television and its home facility, the Kal & Lucille Rudman Media Center, Gluck works with students, staff, faculty, administration and alumni on original content development across a variety of media platforms.

TUTV, which is a citywide cable channel ,has been recognized as one the nation’s best collegiate television stations. Students under Gluck’s guidance have produced award-winning Television, web, social media and video podcast content across the region and around the world.

He is honored to have served as the president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and as a national trustee of the academy. Gluck is a current regional NATAS board member and sits on the Education Committee of the Philadelphia AD Club. He is works with the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers and other groups on the preservation of vintage television programming. Gluck is also an active Temple alum.
