Graduation season is right around the corner, and both Temple University and Klein College of Media and Communication hold ceremonies yearly to honor the latest graduates. Although both events are equally important, they offer unique experiences for students, staff and guests. So, what’s the difference? Here’s what you need to know.
Temple Commencement: The Big Stage
The university's Commencement takes the opportunity to welcome a brand-new set of alumni to the flock. Graduates from all colleges come together with a packed audience, a keynote speaker and plenty of school pride. Although this is a momentous occasion, no graduates will walk across the stage. Also, guest tickets are limited, so choose your invite list wisely.
Klein College Graduation: Strut Your Stuff
Want to hear your name called, strut across the stage, and get that handshake from Dean David Boardman? Then Klein’s graduation is where you should go. This event gets to individually highlight each graduate, plus once you walk across the stage, a professional will be there to capture the moment! No tickets will be required to attend the ceremony, so invite the whole crew to pull up.
A Double Dose of Joy
Both ceremonies include a student speaker and provide distinct experiences, so why pick just one? Temple’s Commencement delivers an electrifying atmosphere, while Klein College ensures you get the recognition you’ve earned.
Mark your calendars, grab your cap and gown and get ready to celebrate—twice!
