Biography

Dana is a feminist scholar currently focused on how social movements use media to create change, what tactics and communication strategies influence their work, and what can today’s movements learn from historical narratives. Her research is heavily influenced and driven by her previous work with Philadelphia area non-profit and grassroots organizations. She holds a BA in English and Women's and Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey and a MA in Liberal Arts from The University of Pennsylvania.
